Pingdom is out today with a new report in which they analyze a variety of the top Internet sites to see which Javascript framework they are running. The tested frameworks included: Prototype, JQuery, MooTools, Yahoo! UI Library, Dojo, ExtJS and MochiKit. A few Web sites use multiple frameworks including DIgg and Bebo.
Prototype seems to be the most popular among the top sites with jQuery close behind. A friend of mine says jQuery is awesome – I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. Check the Pingdom blog to view the list.
