Mission:
The HTMLCenter team is dedicated to providing technical and creative web help to novices and experienced users alike. As the World Wide Web grows, more people have begun to create homepages and web sites about themselves or their companies. The Web has allowed startups and established firms become an everyday presence. HTMLCenter supports new web site builders with helpful tutorials, and useful reviews. Our mission is to be the sole resource that you will need when you begin to build a web site.
TimeLine:
- 3/1/2008: Moved HTMLCenter out of the custom content management system into Wordpress and now the site features Wordpress and Vbulletin.
- 1/7/2007: The new CSS version of HTMLCenter launches
- 2/1/2005: HTMLCenter launches our new design complete with new content, and an upgraded forum.
- 8/1/2003: HTMLCenter continues to bring your new tutorials, reviews and help when you need it.
- 1/1/2002: Total redesign and new dynamic site architecture. WEBGFXcenter, Centernetworks and HTMLCenter merge into HTMLCenter.
- 6/1/1999: First major redesign of the CenterNetworks sites completed. The new layout allows for quicker downloading and more information.
- 5/10/99: CenterNetworks is created to facilitate the integration of the two sites, as well as allow for more sites to be created under the same theme of web development.
- 5/1/99: Exactly a year and two months after WEBGFXcenter opens.
- 3/1/98: HTMLcenter officially is opened, the first site of CenterNetworks.
HTMLCenter Staff:
Management:
Allen: Allen is the managing editor and founder of HTMLCenter. He has worked on Fortune 100 sites for approximately seven years. Allen runs the day to day operations of HTMLCenter, making sure you can receive the help you need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Allen also runs CenterNetworks.
Till: Till resides in Berlin and was the former server guru. He still helps out from time to time as needed when he isn’t working on some PEAR library.
Mark: Mark is the design guru.
Curtiss/Leprekawn: They are the awesome moderator team for the forums. Just an absolutely awesome they do handling all of the trolls and spam the forums receive to make sure your experience is a good one.
Contributors/Moderators:
Lots of people keep the site fresh and new. We appreciate all of their help. Every tutorial and review shows the author or reviewer.
